Yellowstone/Solar Eclipse Trip August 2017

We heard about the solar eclipse over a year in advance so I was ready to make some reservations in Yellowstone National Park the minute they became available. We stayed one night at Roosevelt cabins 2 nights in a Mammoth cabin, and filled in other dates closer in. We ended up spending two nights in Las Vegas, then one in West Yellowstone, one in Red Bluff, 3 in the park, and then a cannonball run home (20 hours of driving). No bears in Yellowstone was weird! The mountain goats on the Beartooth Highway were a highlight.
